The first trip of the season produced the first stripers of the season, the first keepers, and a first ever striped bass catch for a very happy angler!! Thursday we had aboad the George Lytwyn charter. The crew included George, Alyssa, Nick, and Bill. We landed a total of 14 striped bass for the day. The keepers were all around 31.5" to 32.5". The smallest keeper was 28.5". George was the first angler to land a striped bass and a keeper striped bass on the "Just One More" this season. It measured 32". Nick landed his first striped bass ever of his life at 28.5". Congratulations Nick! And Bill Stephens landed the largest on the day at 32.5". Many more short bass were released and other strikes were missed. Water temp. went up to a high in the sunshine to 51.5 degrees. It was all smiles and a great day on the water.
Available dates to charter are April 21, 14, 26, 27, 28, 29. May 2-6, 8. Another open boat date will be scheduled soon, so stay tuned!!
THANKYOU.
