The open boat trips always seem to kick butt!! Today we had aboard, Nick, George, Tim, and the famous seabass slayer Jack. By 10:30 am, we were limited out with big striped bass!!!! The largest was a very fat 36" fish and we were throwing back fish after that between 32" and 33". The smallest shorts thrown back were all in the 27" plus range. The total was a great 19 fish for the day!!! We also had the first double on of the season. This fishery is just getting started. It is only going to get better from here on. The water temp. was up to a high of 52.9 degrees in the warm sun. You will see attached a photo from the trip today with only part of their great catch!! Time to go!!
